    Agony, its really quite a peculiar word when you think about it. What is agony? Well its different for every single person, every single living thing actually. What someone, or something, agonizes gives them extreme pain and anxiety. For one person it can be the ocean and its terrible tides. For another, flying and the idea of falling from such an insurmountable height. For me it holds its own and hellish form. Mine is the agony of silence, but not just any silence, the silence to hold my tongue although their a words which I wish for nothing more than to speak. Words which could bring danger onto the one I wish to speak them to. Words which are in every way forbidden.

    My mind wanders away from my constant and crucifying agony to the stitches I sew in the security of Lyra's stomach. A dangerous blow I was unable to prevent glares me in the eyes with every repair I make. A touch deeper and there could have been danger of death to her baby, and it would have been my fault. Thankfully the seas shifted in our favor and the eel did not deem the baby boy's life on worthy. A small laugh lifts from inside my throat. I can't believe I'm still calling the little fetus a boy with no knowledge of its business, but it at least makes it seem more real. Makes it seem as though he is actually fighting with us, which he is.

    Night soon sends showers of stars over the waving water while I watch a single smile stain the sky. I never learned the boy from Ten's name but I imagine his family is broken and is cousin where ever she may be in this Maze is devastated. But something bothers me, I don't really care. I realize that while I lie here awake, despite the constant complaints of the sleeping Lyra on my lap, I don't care if anyone other than her, her son, and I survive. My family... well metaphorically after all... I mean... Sleep soon relieves me of these thoughts.

    Terror tears through the morning as time seems to be against all reality. Above us a dome of blue and purple prevails over the sky making a dangerous dome. Instinctively I pull Lyra close to my chest as I watch the Grievers pouring in from all around. In a matter of moments it is only Lyra, myself, and two bizarre white haired blue eyes children in the center of this massive pit fight. Suddenly any curiosities I have within my mind are silenced by Maze Maker Hemishift's voice spoke through a nearby Siren. "You must fight to the death until a single team remains. The winners will be set free. Welcome to the Coliseum gladiators."

    Ice crawls beneath my skin as I force Lyra to look me in the eyes. "Listen, stay behind me and do what I say. They will want to kill you and your son. We have to kill them first. The moment I stop talking attack. Okay?" I can see the fear fuming in her eyes and I force a smile onto my face. "Everything is going to be fine." I take a risk and a kiss falls on her cheek. Then all hell breaks lose over the din of the tenacious crowd.

If thoughts could be absorbed by the Cameras following our every minute, he would be furious. Or is he already? Has he registered the way Lucifer causes my heart to flutter? Or is he simply viewing it as a connection between his Queen and their Guard? Confusion swirls within limited thoughts, as my primary concern is upon the Infant evolving within me. No amount of fear towards Joffrey’s potential rage will alter my growing desires for Lucifer - it can’t, and it won’t. Even if my crush upon the Brunette remains unknown.

Reassurance comforts me with assumptions that the Baby is going to be okay. Fingers that destroy any threat, now delicately stitch the wound draining the blood source he or she requires. The flow of red halts continuation, and finally my dwindling anxiety allows me to breath. More relaxing thoughts are permitted, while my eyes refuse to stray from the Man who’s provided me with this relief. He claims that it’s a Boy, though my wonders is upon something else about it…

A single face glistens against the sky - while I’m solely thankful it’s not either of ours. Focus transfer over to Lucifer’s, to study the features that contort his face as his mind spins in whirlwind. Softly my palm coaxes the side of his face, reminding him of the wonders he achieved today. Neither of us sounded a canon of our own. Again my head cradles into the security of his lap, despite that it’s him that’s in need of slumber. “You need to sleep first tonight.” I attempt to declare, as one of his hands comb through my hair in a soothing manner. Without realization, I’m drifted back into the realm of dreams.

The Sunrise’s breach of the Horizon awakens us both at the same time, as if still on clockwork of a Servant’s schedule back in the Mansion of Joffrey’s. A smile nearly enfolds across my lips with the peace of this morning, until I notice the doom encircling us. “Luci-“ My voice trails off with the sight of what must be our new opponents. There’s a sense of familiarity upon them, Runners that we encountered back at the Opening of this maze - yet none held illuminating blue eyes, or the snow-white locks of hair, that these two contain. Lucifer’s arms clutch me close to him, while I know within this battle we must both be warriors.

The Maze Maker’s voice rumbles through our prison, though this time I do not rattle in fear - I can’t, and I won’t. Instructions boom across Lucifer’s tongue, and my head nods in understanding. He tells me that everything will be fine, and I believe him. “It will be.” I agree, hoping to serve him with the confidence he’s been gifting me this entire time. A kiss upon my cheek leaves a red hue across my entire face - and I know I must be as strong as he is. For our Baby.

A stab inflicts upon one of our new Opponent’s shoulder, and I have to follow suit. Only one team can survive, meaning both white-haired Runners must succumb to their demise. Logic tells me to defeat one at a time. This fight I will not fail - I can’t, and I won’t.

Death couldn't hold him down. It tried killing him by throwing him into the depths of the unknown, but Storm was even higher, better, stronger. Something changed. Something was different, and now he was a god. A man without any worries. A man who wanted to find his sister. He wasn't alone now. A new friend floated by his side, and now he wasn't afraid. Nothing would stop him from finding his family, from having a happy ending to this wonderful story.


But first he had to fight.

    As we age we are taught many lessons. How to cook, how to think, how to solve problems, even how to kill. Yet there is something you aren't taught, simply because they can't teach it to you. The only way one can learn to love is through experience, good old trial and error, believe me when I say I would know. My first love was a ginger with a wicked ability to throw knives, little did I know that at some point one would be sent flying at my head when I broke things off. Then there was Killer Kate, I thought she had a chance but she proved to be boring, but I did learn an important lesson from her. Never actually tell the person you are in a relationship with that they bore you, especially not when having sex. Needless to say another hasty retreat followed by air born weapons followed. Now I could go on for decades but the point is I'm picky, but when I find the one I latch to them, and she is one of them.

    Even as blood bellows from my wounds my mind wanders to what my life could be by her side. However, every time I dare to desire such a dream Joffrey's jealous glow reminds me of my place. I don't let my face fall for even a second. Now isn't the time or place for such thoughts, now was the time for survival. A survival I need for my dream's realization.

Fear riddles me whole once more, though this time it’s not due from my own selfish safety. Now that I view him as more then simply guard value, threats dagger into the sensation i hold…him. The White-haired mutations seek to eliminate one at time, just as we do. Do Runners still reside behind those unnatural irises? Or is the Maze-Maker craving an unimaginable twist within this cruel show? Perhaps my new love is evident, and Joffrey’s endless fortune is sponsoring the collapse of Lucifer… No matter the answer, I will not allow him to perish - I can’t, and I won’t.

A mere slice impacts across Lucifer’s arm from the male White-haired. The Female follows, though a gruesome stab carves her attack. Instantly my veins are pumping with discontent, fueling with a desire of revenge. Lucifer’s quick with his retaliation, though this time I know I must assist remarkably.

“Get the hell away from him!” I demand as the Queen that I am, and my Rock swiftly maneuvers as my servant to perform my command.

They were hurting his new friend, the one who died beside him, yet came back to life. Storm wouldn't allow it. He couldn't let them hurt her. She deserved to live, but what made her different than the two standing in front of him? Nothing. Not even in the water where the maze controlled the world. Yet with his white hair, and white robes, Storm would stay alive. He was in control because nobody had power over him. Saving the girl was his life, and he knew what had to happen. Was it worth trying? The girl speaks, yet Storm doesn't answer. She's not worth his time. Not when he has a story waiting at home for him to finish.
