The Heart of the Forest Lying in the center of the dark black wooden trees is an eerily old abandoned playground. Upon rising into this playful place it is not just the sound of shifting swings the Runners hear, but also the voices of ghostly children can be hauntingly heard from every direction. From laughter to singing and playing, the specters seem all too welcoming to the brutal kind of playing which will take place in their playground. Even familiar voices of past Runners are found within the Forest's occupants. Better grab a night light Runners, the game is just beginning. |

The Red Path Dark spruce trees guide this path down the murkiest area of the entire Maze. The dim, spiky branches overlap each other with such thickness, and length, that not even a small animal could squeeze through them. A brick cottage can be seen far off in the distance ahead, and far off howls may leave shivers down spines. The dirt path is overgrown with weeds, along with roots, appearing unkempt for numerous years. Insects chirp a sole calming hum, while all other noises sing purely of dangers ahead. |

The Green Path Decaying oak trees wall this particular path of deteriorating nature. Somehow the massive trunks, overgrown branches, and leaves, flourish enough to prevent even the smallest of Runners from escaping through them. Even if there was an opening, however, gruesome noises of growls warn of straying from the trail. Does that promise to safety upon the path at least? Most certainly not. A plethora of petite cottages can be spotted in the distance, if vision can see past the thick weaving leaves above. The cottages appear to be of a varying in materials from straws, to sticks, to bricks. Still there’s surely no guarantee of what resides ahead. |

The Silver Path - 1 Viewing Demonic willow trees guide this particular path from the scars of the Cornucopia. It appears as though the trees’ trunks are so incredibly thick that the wood nearly walls this venture entirely. A misty fog dances across the journey ahead, giving no peek to what lies there. A brutal breeze dances across the way, pulling anything it may further down the trail. The lengthy leafs of the willows hover and hang entirely overhead, leaving no view of the permanent night sky above. Every couple of steps bakery crumbs seem to scatter a brief area. Who was here before? |

The Gold Path Healthy, thriving elm trees occupy this path, with far more room spacing between them. A couple of yards past the blooming nature however, towering brick walls refrain any from straying far from the path. The gentle kiss of a summer’s breeze comforts the visitors of this journey, though the darkness of the moon’s hours still forever reigns above. A faint aroma of porridge cradles the Runners' senses of smell, nearly forcing all to venture closer. Although peace comforts the atmosphere, should safety truly be felt? The most demonic of devices often resides within the most deceiving of places. |

Follow the golden road to heaven: [Tina's death] by Kaplan Aug 19, 2017 14:26:19 GMT -8 |

The Purple Path Odd colors illuminate from the leaves of the birch trees that decorate the sides of this path. A few paces past the stone brick path lies an identical stone brick wall that refutes any Runner from venturing past where the Maze Makers want. The moon appears to permanently shine above in a welcoming manner without a single overgrown tree to cover it. Every aspect of this trail appears pristine, almost too well kept. Off in the distance ahead, three castles can be spotted towering above in different directions - though there’s absolutely no certainty of where future directions may lead. |
