Alone We Wander // Chaos Day Three

Inner Ice Maze
Finally you gain freedom from the never ending stream of haunting cabins. Except now perhaps you wish that you hadn't. As you reach the end of the route you have chosen a heavy fog fills the area. At first you attempt to hold onto your allies for dear life, but it is all in vain. Soon rampant snow winds drive you all apart and force you into the only place for shelter. An interior ice maze, one in which if you ever wish to see your allies again, you will have to make it out alive of. 

Welcome Chaos!

As you selected you have entered the Western Passage and have come across your second area in the Maze. An inner ice maze with deadly twists and turns to undertake. Also please note the rest of your Maze Running journey will take place entirely in this board. Only will you be permitted to post in a new thread for the following reasons: Death Posts/Threads and/or the Final Hallway{Maze Makers will start this one}.

Task Number One

Find the exit of the Maze and survive!

Left Direction: In choosing to go left you are now faced with a hallway which suddenly starts to collapse upon itself. Please make a post and roll the dice given at the end as well as making a selection out of the directional options given. If you die however please note the direction will not be taken.

No, this cannot be happening again. Even from the entrance of training for a Maze, my sole goal was to protect my siblings if they were to ever be chosen; never to actually win for selfish, victories reasons. But once again the one I swore to shelter, gets taken from me. "Lightning!" I continuously call out for, completely neglecting my other allies. Most likely he'll be awaiting at the end of this particular course. The only thing I can strive for now is surviving this and reunite with him once more.

Right Direction: Upon narrowly being crushed to death you enter your second passageway. By now blood is dripping upon the ground below you with every step you take, yet you are determined to see yourself survive. However, before you get the chance to reminisce on the thought of victory various sections of the walls begin to slam together and then retract on a pattern. It would seem if you want to survive this hallway its all about timing. Please make a post and roll the dice given at the end as well as making a selection out of the directional options given. If you die however please note the direction will not be taken.

It crumbles behind, and onward is the only option remaining. Walls embrace in a harsh manner, warning of no further venturing; except that pertaining still is no reliable decision either. At pristine timing the journey must continue, and a second late can result in a deadly crush. I count, I memorize, and I sprint with intelligence rather then hope.

Straight Direction: Upon narrowly avoiding death once again you enter a tighter and short passageway. Yet as you soon discover several steps in, just as deadly. Two incredibly sharp thin circles of ice begin to roll down the passageway. You have no choice but to attempt to avoid them or rick severe damage! Please make a post and roll the dice given at the end as well as making a selection out of the directional options given. If you die however please note the direction will not be taken.

Of what a leg I have left gets pinned between the first set of walls, and a displeased yelp seeps through my clenched lips. This will not deter me though. My last breath will not be taken until I see Lightning's guarantee of passing through the final hallway. I cling to the walls that threaten my existence, I sweep past the second trap with a second to spare. A corner is swiped, and another danger creeps my way in a sharpened spin.

Right Direction: This hall is long and quiet, almost too quiet. So as you travel down its icy length you stay especially alert. That's when you discover the ground beginning to give way beneath you to a pit of sharpened stalagmites. Please make a post and roll the dice given at the end as well as making a selection out of the directional options given. If you die however please note the direction will not be taken.

Well there goes another limb. How my survival is striving is beyond my knowledge. Determination to see my Brother to the end? Perhaps then I will collapse with all the destruction thats building upon me. Only time will tell, and hopefully so as more dangerous tasks await in my journey ahead. But still I toddle to the security of knowing my Brother's safe ahead. He had to have made it through this, and as will I. Balance becomes difficult with the thin layer of ice beneath me, yet I persist with best intentions.

Left Direction: Upon narrowly being skewered into a kabob you make it out of the hall and on to one where you can see light shimmering at its end. Indeed the end is near, however, as you push yourself to escape on to freedom a trip wire sends you falling to the ground. By triggering the wire icicles begin to explode from the walls. Time to run, yet as you grow closer to the end a pit with fire burning at its bottom awaits you. You know you have to jump, but the question is will you make it?

One after another a rough exhale releases from my lungs. The light at the end of this is radiating beyond understanding, though I'm fully aware it's not guiding me to death...hopefully. No, it can't. Not until the final Griever squeals it's demise, and victory for Lightning is promised, will I shrivel in satisfaction. If I've made it this far on slim odds, I will further. Ice begins combusting, and a flaming pit awaits my travel, and I will overcome it for him. He's close, and I'm getting closer.
