Inner Ice Maze
Finally you gain freedom from the never ending stream of haunting cabins. Except now perhaps you wish that you hadn't. As you reach the end of the route you have chosen a heavy fog fills the area. At first you attempt to hold onto your allies for dear life, but it is all in vain. Soon rampant snow winds drive you all apart and force you into the only place for shelter. An interior ice maze, one in which if you ever wish to see your allies again, you will have to make it out alive of.

As you selected you have entered the Western Passage and have come across your second area in the Maze. An inner ice maze with deadly twists and turns to undertake. Also please note the rest of your Maze Running journey will take place entirely in this board. Only will you be permitted to post in a new thread for the following reasons: Death Posts/Threads and/or the Final Hallway{Maze Makers will start this one}.

Task Number One

Find the exit of the Maze and survive!
First choice: Left or Right.

Left Direction: In choosing to go left you are now faced with a hallway which suddenly starts to collapse upon itself. Please make a post and roll the dice given at the end as well as making a selection out of the directional options given. If you die however please note the direction will not be taken.

Within moments I'm once again blinded from my team, just as everyone was during the opening of this damn maze. My voice breaches out for them, but still my feet carry to my loved President. Then it clears, and her craft unravels around me. Will she assist in my escape as she has been?

Right Direction: Upon narrowly being crushed to death you enter your second passageway. By now blood is soon to be dripping upon the ground below you with every step you take, yet you are determined to see yourself survive. However, before you get the chance to reminisce on the thought of victory various sections of the walls begin to slam together and then retract on a pattern. It would seem if you want to survive this hallway its all about timing. Please make a post and roll the dice given at the end as well as making a selection out of the directional options given. If you die however please note the direction will not be taken.

Right behind my heel the path crumbles in a deadly manner, announcing the inability to retreat back. Did Snow control the pristine delay to allow me safety? With the walls colliding together and retrieving before me, my answer will soon be met. A sharp inhale of the frozen oxygen is taken, and I sprint to my fate.

Right Direction: Upon narrowly avoiding death once again you enter a tighter and short passageway. Yet as you soon discover several steps in, just as deadly. Two incredibly sharp thin circles of ice begin to roll down the passageway. You have no choice but to attempt to avoid them or rick severe damage! Please make a post and roll the dice given at the end as well as making a selection out of the directional options given. If you die however please note the direction will not be taken.

Timing isn't keen this round as both a hand and foot get snipped by the hungry walls. With no desire to continue down this path, I grasp the next turn...to discover no satisfaction. A deadly present circles my way, and I now plead that Ms. Snow has no decision in these obstacles. Another harsh breath, and I strive forward once more.

Left Direction: This hall is long and quiet, almost too quiet. So as you travel down its icy length you stay especially alert. That's when you discover the ground beginning to give way beneath you to a pit of sharpened stalagmites. A roar rumbles past my throat to exert the pain radiating my entire body. Ms. Snow better now be behind this, or a serious conversation about our status will have to be discussed. But I can't assume that it is her navigating my destiny. Innocent until proven guilty. But with ground beginning to rattle beneath my feet, perhaps I should be concentrating on other things.

Right Direction: Upon narrowly being skewered into a kabob you make it out of the hall and on to one where you can see light shimmering at its end. Indeed the end is near, however, as you push yourself to escape on to freedom a trip wire sends you falling to the ground. By triggering the wire icicles begin to explode from the walls. Time to run, yet as you grow closer to the end a pit with fire burning at its bottom awaits you. You know you have to jump, but the question is will you make it?

Is a maze within the Maze calling for my final demise? Has Ms. Snow vacationed to a nap, and left my survival within the grasps of the Jealous? As higher threats embrace my further path, I question everything & am aware of no such answers. Will I be gifted with security to know? Determination still drives every pump of my dwindling heart, & strive of my muscles. Maybe destiny hovers in my control, perhaps it does not. Let us find out.
