Inside the Storm // Storm+Tauriel Day Two

Mystery lies beyond the large ship wreckage and deep within the coral forest. Danger lurks within the darkness of the depths and at any moment something could appear from within the coral's branches. Yet still you swim on, you follow the path before you. Until finally you come across a clearing small with two opened passages one to the right and one to the left. Alas before you can act you are ambushed, but by what?!

Welcome Storm Winterselle and Tauriel Sprite!

As you selected you have entered the Blue Coral Forest and have come across your first area in the Maze. A a small red coral clearing apparently teeming with bizarre lifeforms, including the one you will soon be fighting. Please not only will you be permitted to post in a new thread for the following reasons: Death Posts/Threads and/or the Final Hallway{Maze Makers will start this one}.

Task Number One
You enter a small clearing within the large and open coral forest. Suddenly you are ambushed by a Raptor! Good luck Runners and may the odds be ever in your favor!

Where are you, Rainbow?

I spent the night praying she followed me, but I don't know where she is. I can't find her. I've let her down.

I need her, and she isn't here.

The water's cold, and I can feel the goosebumps raising beneath the gear they gave me. It's hard to be in here. All I want to do is find my sister and make it out of this alive.

I swim towards the coral wanting to explore it. It's such an amazing sight, and I know it can be deadly, anything in here is deadly, yet I'm still alive. I survived, and now I don't know how to live. I need to know that she's okay. Rainbow has to be alive. I know it.

I'll kill myself if she's dead.

I feel something impale my stomach for only a moment, and it hurts to bad. My eyes are wide, and I can't scream.

But I remove my knife, and I tighten my grip.

I'm not going to let some stupid fish kill me.

Fear of the unknown escalate her heartrate. Unable to control her limbs, they shake, quivering with uncertainty as she swims. Cautious about every danger than can happen to her, she swims slowly and examines everything. Her eyes dart over to each movement of the algea swaying with the currents. She spots every fish lingering near that disappears only moments later. Her teeth would chatter had they not been taken over with the mouthpeice to breath.

"Help... help me." She whispers to herself and no sooner than she spots something move, she notices the legs. The arms. The enormous sight of the creature ripping into the boy she's came upon and then it attacks her too. Pain rips through her bicept and she screams out, fumbling to react with the spear.

"Are... are you.... okay?" She questions and immediately without hesiation, goes to defend the two of them with the only thing she managed to get in the beginning.

Apparently I'm not a good fighter, and I know that. I'm terrible at it, and I'm not going to save my life.

And then I see a girl swimming, and the things has hit her too.

I don't know who she is, but I have to help her if I can. I gotta do something. Something fast.

But before I can, it stabs me in the arm, and I'm screaming at the top of my lungs as loud as I possibly can.

Yet I turn towards her.

"Watch out the thing is pointy!" I shout as I turn away once more.

"I'll be better once this thing is dead!" I tighten my grip on the knife. "Are you okay?"

Sensations take over her body as the creature goes from one arm to the next in attempts to sever her flesh. However, she barely manages to scratch the thing. What ever gave her the idea that she could take down something so magnanomous when she and her new partner were little kiplings ready to be eaten.

The agile thing moves before it can be hit from the boy. Panic sets in.

"No. NO I'M NOT OKAY. THAT THING IS TRYING TO KILL US..." She screams with a voice of terror.

We're gonna die. Nothing will save us. Nothing. We're both screwed. I'll never see Rainbow again. I'll never tell her a story. I'll never hug her again. I'll never hear her voice again.

I wish she would've followed me.

And now I'm bleeding out, and I'm screaming. Nothing will save me. Nothing will ever make it better.

She's not looking well, and I don't know what to do anymore.

It's not right. This maze is a foolish mistake. They should've never taken me! I'm just a kid with a dream to live. But dreaming was my downfall. I'm going to die.

She's right.

"I'm not ready to die." My voice shakes, and I feel myself falling apart. And I'm screaming more. It hurts so bad. Worse than anything I've ever imagined before. The fairies have abandon me, and all hope is gone. All I can do now is watch as this thing kills me.

"I'm not ready to die." I whisper almost inaudibly as I prepare to attack for what may be the last time ever.

Pain rips through her body. The pain terrorizes her face with a frown and fearful creases on her face. Behind the suit protecting her, she claws at the breathing apparatus and begins to deliver to herself a fateful blow but the monster decides to attack her partner first. His leg is ripped to shreds sending bouts of redness to seep into the water. Clouds of crimson linger near to her and the thought of his blood clouding her vision make her awry.

"No.... No... NO... NO!" She frets when the monster turns on her. Her chest explodes from within her. Blackness pools at the sides of her eyes and blurred vision begins to overtake her.

"I'm.. ready." She mumbles as she reaches once again for the breathing apparatus. With one hand on her lifesource and the other one on the spear, she dares to use one to her advantage.

Rainbow, where are you?

I wanted to stay with her. I want to find her. I'm scared, oh so scared. I don't want to die. Not now. Not ever. I want to grow old and have a family.

I wade in a crimson lake thing, and I hate it. Nothing makes sense anymore. My vision is failing, and I barely feel anything.

"If you're going to kill me, stop toying with me you ugly beast!" I hiss through gritted teeth. "But I'm not going to die! Not today! Not by an ugly thing like you!"

I try to swim. I try to move, but it's so hard. And I don't know how much longer I'll take, or how many more damage this thing can do. I'll fight until I die.

A sense of urgency creeps through my veins, but it's too late. I know it is. I just want to see Rainbow one last time.
