When Maze Maker Hemishift finally finishes speaking you all feel every being staring at you, daring you to race. But will you? Will you mount a sea horse? Will you take a chance at gaining the supposedly unimaginable reward even at the risk of coming in last? The time is now, the choice is yours. Choose wisely Runners.
Welcome Runners!
As you know you have entered Atlantis and have come across your first area in the city. A massive racing track exploding with excitement from a massive crowd and filled with breath taking sea horse steeds. Please note only will you be permitted to post in a new thread for the following reasons: Death Posts/Threads and/or the Final Hallway{Maze Makers will start this one}.
Your Task
You must reply to the Special Event: Welcome to the Races. With whether your Runner wishes to race or not. In doing so you will be given a number and a picture of a sea horse which you may choose the gender and name(the fun part). From there the actual race will begin. The race will occur in a total of five parts, or five posts and dice rolls. The opening stretch, the first turn, the middle stretch, the second turn, and the final home stretch. Whichever horse and rider that has the lowest added dice scores, or time, wins. The one with the highest comes in dead last. The dice rolls change per stretch or turn but will be posted by me each time before the next roll. Another aspect of this race are various incidents or obstacles which change and will be rolled over by me after everyone posts. For example the sea horse spooks and you gain +20 to your roll. Also please note these will all be randomly rolled for who they affect. With that Good luck Runners, or should I say, Racers!
Ps: For those of you who do not wish to race I am giving you permission to post in your own started thread if you wish, however please keep your Runners in the racing stadium. Thank you.
