Rachel is of average height and has a rather skinny body type. Her hair is of a dark color that appears to be brown or almost black, though she can occasionally get hair dye to add things like highlights to her hair, those this isn't too often. When you look at her eyes, one can see that they are bright blue. Her ears are pierced, as she often wears earrings and other sorts of jewelry. The one piece of jewelry that is a particular favorite of hers is a necklace with a single music note on it. She tends to wear this a lot, though sometimes she can be seen without it. Her typical choice in clothing can be considered somewhat stylish, as she will often wear v-neck shirts or various types of tank tops. Rachel doesn't give off the appearance of a supermodel, but is seen as rather attractive, nonetheless.
Often wearing eye makeup, Rachel also is one to tend to put effort into her appearance, as it is something that she cares quite a bit about. Although, on her arms, as well as a little bit on her legs, there are visible cuts from weapons that were used in training. She had often been hit with them from other people when they would do practice fights (of which were never really meant to harm one another, simply to see what they were capable of on a lower scale). Rachel has side swept bangs as part of her hairstyle, and her teeth are rather white as well. This helps give her a nicer looking appearance. Many people will get a good impression of her based on her looks at first. This also has prevented people from avoiding her when she tries to start conversation, as she sometimes would come off a little harsh at the beginning of a talk.

Rachel is a generally courteous person, and is generally sympathetic as well. She is usually nurturing, but rarely curious. It's rare for her to get into a situation that is risky purely out of curiosity, though she can be quite a risk taker due to enjoying the pure thrill of it. She is rather optimistic, which is why she is one to take risks, meaning that she rarely thinks anything will go wrong too terribly. Rather loyal and typically honest, Rachel also makes a rather good friend to have around. Although, she doesn't always think things through logically, and will just hope for the best most of the time. This can result in her getting into unlucky situations sometimes.
Sometimes a bit flirty, Rachel is quite a romantic person. She loves to devote her attention to one person that she really cares about. She's somewhat outgoing, though she can't always control her emotions the best. This means that if someone gets her upset, she is likely to act out on it. She will often approach people, trying to make friends, though it doesn't always turn out the best, since she is sometimes a bit too forward with what she says. There are also quite a few things that agitate Rachel, even if they are very simple and irrelevant to any sort of situation. When things like this bother her, she will often ask the person to stop. If they don't however, she sometimes gets frustrated.
Some of the things that tend to annoy Rachel are when people are prone to fidgeting with their hands. Also, when people mutter things that she can't hear, this bothers her, as she often assumes they are saying something negative about her. When people hum, she is okay with it for a while, but it eventually begins to become irritating to her. Rachel, however, has certain quirks like this herself. When she is agitated, she will often tap her foot. She may also mess with her hair when she is anxious or bothered by something. These are all some little things about her.
Rachel is someone that is for some reason, completely fascinated by detailed architecture. She always wished she could visit the Capitol, simply because of how beautiful she has heard that the buildings are. Also, for some reason, she is someone who believes in ghosts. Often thinking that she is being watched, that is the conclusion she will often jump to. This is especially because she sometimes thinks that she hears the voice of her sister who has passed on, and felt that that was the only explanation she could come up with. It may also be in part because she did not want to admit that she likely was imagining the voice being present.

Rachel grew up without her parents being home very often, as they worked quite frequently. This left her without too much of a parental figure to look up to. When she was young, she often spent the days on her own because of this, up until a certain act of generosity earned her a best friend. There was a girl that had been hurt, as she had just gotten in a fight with another person, and was injured afterward. Rachel, out of compassion, rushed to the girl and helped her back to her feet, offering to help with whatever she needed at the moment. This was the beginning of their long lasting friendship. They are still close friends at this point. This is something that Rachel is rather proud of. She is very glad that she is able to help people, and has made a big enough difference in someone's life to make them want to be such close friends with her.
As a young kid, Rachel was often outside, being active and having fun. She loved to run around and play games, as well as socialize with anyone who was around. Her parents, rarely being home, didn't mind that she was outside all the time, and actually quite liked that she was able to find ways to entertain herself. She currently lives with two younger siblings, and used to have an older sister. Her older sister, who was named Cassandra, passed away due to an illness when Rachel was fourteen. This has greatly impacted Rachel's life at this point. Her younger siblings, Jake and Marco, are both young boys at this point, ages twelve and ten. She cares for them both rather greatly. Rachel has always had a rather close relationship with her siblings. They often got along rather well, and didn't fight all too much.
If it wasn't a mandatory thing, Rachel would never watch the Hunger Games. She hated the concept of them, and didn't like watching so many innocent people die. She wished that she could just save them. One thing she did was promise herself that if one of her friends ever got picked for the games, she would step up and take their place. This is a promise that she is determined to never break, even if it means she would die in the games. She is a bit of a risk-taker as it is, and would certainly take a risk to save someone else's life. The girl, however, has reluctantly trained as a career, and would go into the Maze if she got chosen. She is unsure if she'd volunteer, however. It is very rare that she has the want to hurt someone else, so she thinks that the Games may be hard for her at first, but perhaps not as they progressed.
