The moment his presence crossed my vision within my next destination, I refute to ever lose his beauty from my eyes again… of course my desires seem to spite me within this maze. “Lucifer!” I scream for him repeatedly; though it seemed the further I travel closer towards his direction, the further he’d travel from me. “Lucifer!” His pristine frame has completely vanished from my gaze, and my heart is left scarcely beating. “Lucifer…” This time his name is whispered from my defeated lips, as I press my fingers against divine gates. My forehead collapses against the bars that seem to be dividing us… and I gaze down to the locks that must release this barrier. With no key in sight, my fingernails begin to scurry for the answers I seek.

Within the first try the glorious entrance welcomes me to my desired location. A sigh echoes through my lungs, though a grin does not follow such. Until the final hallway, there is no safety or happiness residing amongst the next obstacle. And sure enough two Grievers are awaiting my next destination. Demonic beauties sketch their exterior, and it’s evident I must discover a way past them… "Ladies." I grin at them, as though I truly belong - while internally pleading it'll facade them.

A breath is released the moment I pass the two gorgeous Sirens. Attractions accept the attractive apparently, and I’ve been graced with their approval. My legs continue to softly kick through the path as though as simply as walking, while I’m internally pleading to be graced with the conclusion of this challenge of travel sooner then later.

Massive doors glory my view, and I can taste the end of this obstacle… that is until the two Statues seem to be following me with their eyes, and once I reach close enough - they turn towards me entirely. A gulp slivers down my throat anxiously. But if I was able to make it past the vicious Mermaids without a fret, surely the stoniness of these Lions will not halt my Royalty either? And without a second of a pause, and my head held high, I continue onward.

The roar of these Beasts do not agree with me as the Sirens had. Their jaws carve in my direction, craving the taste of my blood. And despite my instincts to scurry from their rafts, their teeth clasp across my skin with no forgiveness - before they return to their rightful place, frozen though their eyes refute to budge sight from me. In every which direction my eyes roam in search for an alternative path, though only chambers pointing to a single option greet me. It’s evident I must travel past these hungry lions. Though this time intimidation reigns my features, with hopes of scarring the statued animals from tempting at me again.

Fourth Challenge 

Situation: Upon entering the palace in order to enter the royal chambers where the final hallway is you must sacrifice a finger to the baby kraken guarding the final door. This will give you +15 damage and you must write a post for this

Acceptance is finally rewarded, as the Lions do not claw in my direction once more. Another breath releases from my throat due to another accomplishment. Every which way is viciously studied for Lucifer’s existence. A canon fires, and the beat of my heart halts altogether. Was that his final song? Has he left me, though he was never permitted to do so? Tears crave to blur my eyes, though I immediately suck them back. Lucifer is far too strong to exit when we can taste the end.

A baby Griever greets me at a door that’s decorated to claim the end; and even something crafted to be evil claims such innocence about it. Might as well discover the way to open to the final hallway while I wait for Lucifer to join. And something oddly pulls my finger towards the youthful Monster, as if to peck it’s nose playfully - until it bites off my finger altogether. “You little!…” I scream at it, until the doors begin to release. Still I wait for my love to join, even if it means being trapped in this awful maze for eternity.
