Salem Fysco
Dawn soon draws out the rats of competition before the small shadow even stirs from the seduction of sleep. A single second it feels like its been since a name belonging to him was mentioned first over Capitol screens. Cheers and calls of intense excitement was what awaited the District Nine tiny Runners when they first exited their express ride to the city. Photos flashed and signs somehow already harboring Salem's face were waving through the air. It was beyond understandable why such a sickening stupor would be supplied for a District well known to be unable to produce victory. Perhaps it was the death of each of the little lives which they hungered for more than a lion lost in the savanna. Or maybe... maybe they could sense the immense power protruding from Salem's skin. If they could then they would realize they were watching the strongest sorcerer step foot into their territory. It was wise to greet him with such a great festival of adoration.
Mild morning confusion washes away into clear concise focus. Salem spends little time handing the horrid steps of breakfast and preparation for training. The moment the Training Center slides open for access he glides down the gates of the elevator and enters the seemingly empty hall. It would be the perfect time to size up the vermin he would be battling as they came crawling into the center. Surely enough the horde soon begins spilling in from the sliding doors and Salem calculates each one of them as they arrive, that is until one in particular acquires his attention.
Blondie number one enters the center with confidence clearly suitable for a career sister of two Victors and a two time surviving District. Blondie number two however has sorrow shrouding his eyes so much Salem is almost certain the kid will cry again just as he did when chosen to compete. A small smirk purses Salem's lip as he slithers like a shadow behind the boy to a nearby station. Another young child with an attitude like his just might make himself useful to Salem's devices.
A hand taps the boy on his shoulder as Salem joins him officially at the station. "Dragon Jinx, that's a rather odd name. But then again so is Salem." Salem's eyes never leave the boy as he slowly walks to his other side. "I have to say Jinxy, you really need to work on your looks. Listen, you aren't dead yet and as far as everyone is concerned you are somewhat a career. Use it, be frightening like your partner. You are a career right? I only assume everyone from your District is at this point." Time to discover what the witch can unravel from the Dragon.
