I've always been a rather eccentric individual, having strange hobbies and odd habits. I enjoy reading, yes, but that's likely my only normal hobby that I really have. Other than that, I've been known to study nature in an odd way. I capture bugs and spiders, keeping them to look at, watching the way they walk and behave. I also will often find plants that I know to be edible and eat them, for the sheer fact that I like the natural taste. Despite being one of the wealthier people in District Ten, I have very inexpensive things that I enjoy doing.
Living with only my father has been tough during the past few years. My mother passed away unexpectedly one day, and things haven't been the same since. I'm an only child, so I'm all my father really has left. I believe that my mother's death effected him more than it effected me. I loved her, yes, but I was merely ten years old when it occurred. I also wasn't near her when it happened, but my father was with her during the accident and in the moments she passed away. She'd been trampled by horses on our farm, and never recovered from it.
My best friend, Drake, has always been extremely kind to my father and I. Many days, he'll be assisting my father and I on the farm, doing work that we would never expect someone else to do for us. I'm hardworking, as are Drake and my father. Drake has a rather rough home life, and therefore has resorted to spending most of his time with us instead. I really appreciate what he does for us, and I see him as a brother.
