Lightning Aqua
Rain shatters slapping against the shifting surface of the sea. On the shore he sits an umbrella over head a suit of black still clinging to him as though his skin. Lightning leaps from the clouds and the blonde boy's eyes follow the famous streaks he was named after. No water wells within his eyes but a face of stone stares out over the bluff. In his hand a single pink flower freshly picked wavers in the storm's soft surge before he lets it fall from the cliff and into the turning tide. Its been three months since she was buried, abandoned beneath the earth, yet still not a day goes by he hears her voice. He still hasn't even found the strength to walk down the street Chaos and he first found her on, saved her from. Her absence is still too heavy. Lightning barely notices when the covered cars pull up.
Suddenly he's racing home umbrella closed water plummeting from the sky pelting his face. His heart heaves thundering louder than the breaking beasts of black clouds above. Her words keep ringing, keep crippling his muddied mind as he rushes through the rain. He has to get back to her, back to Chaos. He feels as though the world is simply waiting now to swallow him whole. The strong scent of roses still clings to him so profusely. Want them kept safe? Ice surges down his spine as he sprints swiftly through the Victors' Village gate.
He rams through the door just as he sees the last few covered cars pulling away from the Village. "Chaos!" He screams slamming the door just as a chaotic clash of thunder shakes the house down to its frozen roots. He finds her in the kitchen hands on the counter in fists with her head hanging low lost like his. Two white roses lay intertwined atop the two letters with their names finely written on them, yet they both know already what's inside. One day, make your decision. But it must be both of you. His hands grab the roses before rushing to the fire and throwing them in as their embers illuminate the room. He doesn't even dare to turn back to face his sister, he just watches the flickering flames as he speaks with water still hanging heavy on him.
"Do we do it?"
