It is currently July within the restrictions of Panem. All over the districts summer winds from the brutal heat of the midyear makes living rather hard for just about anyone. However the needed supplies by the Capitol only seem to be rising along with the rising temperature.

The Maze Running
The Next Maze Running is the 48th.
Set to begin in on July 21, 2018.
Frankly the Trainer was bored, it was their final year before retirement after all. He gave a sigh as he walked up to the young girl from Three, her kind had a reputation after Auto Theft. "Okay little girl, you want to slow your opponent which material would you use for the trap. Glass, wire, or mud? Justify your answer."
The options I was given by the trainer as to which would slow down an opponent most successfully in a trap were wire, glass and mud. I was also told to justify my answer, and I knew exactly what to say.
"I would use mud," I told her. "Mud can slow down an opponent by causing them to slip if it's slick enough or get stuck if it's deep enough."
The Trainer shook his head lightly. They often fall for the trick of mud. He crosses his arms adjusting his glasses. "I'm afraid now. Mud would be a good option but it can often harden or become too sloshy after setting the trap. Wire would also have been wrong since they are easier to spot and sometimes can break instead of trip or tie. The correct answer was glass. Break it into shards, arrange them correctly and you can injure your enemies slowing them down quite a bit if its on their feet." He stops hoping she retains his lesson. "Next, create for me a trap you would use to disable someone from above. You have seven minutes, begin."
Even though I was rather irritated that I was told I was wrong, I tried not to show it. I simply listened to the next instructions I was given and continued on doing what I was told to do. The trainer told me to construct a trap that would disable someone from above, and that I'd have seven minutes to do so.
Immediately, I retrieved a net. Using a thin, clear, fishing wire, I connected it to the net. Then, I climbed up the rock wall to reach the rafters, putting the net up there and allowing the extremely long fishing wire to reach the ground. I connected the fishing wire to two fixed points near the ground to create a trip wire that would pull the net down on the opponent if it were triggered. As the fishing wire was clear, it would be very hard to spot.
