The Maze Running
The Next Maze Running is the 48th.
Set to begin in on July 21, 2018.
She loved this time of the stations, when she could test her pupils on their knowledge. She always loved to envision just which ones had what it takes to survive. Her fingers snapped, gathering the girl's attention.
"Carnivore Griever. You have no meat, come up with something you can use instead to feed it in order to begin taming it."
The trainer's fingers snap in front of her in what she would assume is a rude manner. How she wished that moons didn't fill her mind or ocean waves that keeps her restless through the night. Rafe's voice in her head like a scream that echoes along the confines. A sigh falls from her throat as she pays attention to the trainer who speaks.
"Carnivore Griever. You have no meat, come up with something you can use instead to feed it in order to begin taming it."
Meat. Meat. Meat. Carnivores only ate meat for the most part from all that she knew about them. No answers would come to her mind, even though she needed one. Rafe would have known it. Rafe knows everything. To give up or to guess. She doesn't know which to do, so she just says the first thing that pops into her mind.
The trainer approves of her joke answer, but she doesn't say anything to her because why should she. As she stands with her arms crossed feeling successful, oddly so, but still successful. The trainer asks another question as griever appears in a holographic way, with a long sharpened beak. The trainer speaks up.
"What food would you give to this specific greiver if you were attempting to tame it?"
She doesn't hesitate.
"Meat! That's what the sharpness of the beak is for!"
