Fae Drakon -- District Seven

With the weight of the world on her shoulders, Fae's feeling stressed already. Rae's alone with their aunt in the forest and all she can think of is how much she misses fixing her sister's hair and telling her that things will be alright. Would they? Not sure of her own fate, she crosses her arms staring at runners along the place. District Four Male seems to be obnoxious in his body language, a clear reminder that she was going to avoid him for the most part. District Six Female seems sweet in her ways, but Fae feels the aura of safety that comes from her, a dangerous thing to get stuck in. District Two Male seems on edge the entire time, but he's smiling at a boy with dark hair. Interesting, but she doesn't care enough to check. Instead, her eyes catch the sight of red hair and a smaller girl who looks to be as young as her own little sister. Something in her just aches for the smaller girl, so she follows her for a moment to see where the red headed little girl was going to go.

Eyes catch the sight of a trainer who was specialized in hand to hand of sorts. Countering blows from runners was a difficult thing, especially for a little girl like the red head who went there. Fae's silent as she watches the interaction, but stops as something in her screams to go forward. Feet take her as she's already tying her hair back from her face ready to help a girl about the age of Raelin to protect herself. A smile pulls on her lips as she speaks calmly to the little red head.

"Hey! Need a partner to practice some techniques with?"

Memories of teaching Raelin how to protect herself from wild men in District Seven fills her head. Lumberjacks were different than tributes, but they all had their specialties and smaller children had their own strengths. Smaller kids can dodge moves easily with their tiny frame and move quicker than the more muscular tributes. District Two would have a problem dealing with Fae if she had to guess. A brighter smile comes as she gives a hand out.

"I'm Fae. Fae Drakon. I could help you with some stuff!"

When it came to training, we'd nearly had two weeks of it so far. I was getting quite tired, but I knew I had to keep working hard. If I gave up now, I wouldn't have any chance of surviving in the Maze. That was for certain. I needed to keep working at it.

When I was working with some trainers on hand-to-hand combat countering skills, however, someone approached me, which I hadn't expected. She asked me if I needed a partner to practice with, and, at first, I thought she was messing with my like my brothers and sisters often did back home, as I'm somewhat gullible. When she introduced herself as Fae Drakon and said she could help me with some stuff, I smiled. It seemed like the girl was being genuine, so I nodded in response to her.

"Sure, I'd love the help!" I said to her with a smile. I paused for a moment, though, questioning to myself once more as to if this girl was messing with me or not.

"Are you sure, though? I just ask because I didn't think anyone would really want me to have any sort of advantage in the Maze since I'm not much of a threat to begin with..." I asked her this, just to ease my mind. I needed confirmation that I wasn't being used or messed with in some way.
