Anthem -- Day Two

    Among the various worlds and beneath the various skies of this Maze reality and home seem foreign. The world from which you came seems more like a fable than truth. As the night ventures on and the stars begin to stain several of the dark spaces over the Maze clouds suddenly begin appearing from the black. Grey with color dancing vibrantly among them the begin to circle against the sky. Chaos just like the woman controlling this world, then the other entity enters. Electricity ignites from the circularly spinning clouds in a spectrum of colors. For a while you wonder what will come, but your question is soon answered. The anthem of the nation you now serve a sentence as Runner for begins to play and the lightning begins to produce pictures, faces of those already delivered to death.

    The phantoms fade finally after a long light show, a total of three Runners now lie dead. Soon total darkness returns as the skies clear, for some of you, and the music fades leaving nothing but the chill or heat of night and the howls of hell to comfort you survivors. If there was one thing Day One had taught it was to never take a single moment of life for granted. Clearly the Maze Makers were willing to produce blood despite once being one of you. It is clear no one in the Maze is safe, no one. 

    As the sun soon rises dreadfully for some and happily for others, the realm readies for its newest dawn. You awake from your night to discover a new day dauntingly dancing before you. The Maze is ready to welcome this new day of dangerous adventure and now your destinies are calling. However one question dangles in the air. Which direction is the fastest way to freedom?

    In the safety and luxury of the gleaming Capitol, celebrations of this year's Maze Running are in full swing. However, the most important piece of the Capitol's festivities lies in its center surrounded by massive televisions displaying the Running. Twelve Braziers with uniquely colored flames and numbers stand in a perfect circle for all to see as a physical representation of the competing Districts. Currently though the Districts One, Six, and Twelves' braziers are only half as lit as they originally were to represent the death of one of their Runners. As for Districts Two, Three, Four, Five, Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten, and Elevens' they remain fully lit and gloriously burning as both of their Runners remain alive within the Maze's walls. 

    Congratulations on making it to Day 2 Runners! As you are all aware the next Maze routes are now open and you have sent in your designated direction. Below is listed all the various things/challenges your Runners will face when first entering the direction of the Maze you have selected. Also please note all journey's will be started by a Maze Maker so please withhold from posting prior to these posts.
